Complete your 2017 pledge to fund this year’s ministry budget. The annual budget includes all ministries, missions, programs and administrative costs to operate Marvin Church for one year.
GIVE your 2018 Estimate of Giving
Support the 2018 Marvin Church ministry budget by submitting an estimate of giving form online at marvinumc.com or by mail.
GIVE from your IRA if you are 70½ years or older.
The IRA rollover allows individuals 701/2 years or older to distribute anywhere from $100 up to $100,000 from an IRA to Marvin Church or other charitable organization. Contact your financial advisor to discuss options.
GIVE tangible personal property, real estate, publicly traded securities, closely held stocks, life insurance, retirement plans and proceeds, and other property.

GIVE a gift to the Marvin United Methodist Church Foundation.
Foundation gifts are legacy gifts that last beyond your lifetime. The interest is used to meet church needs that fall outside of the annual operating budget. Foundation distributions are established as 50 percent maintenance, 30 percent discretionary and 20 percent missions.
GIVE a gift to the Eternal Flame Fund.
Support the ongoing care and maintenance of Marvin Church. One hundred percent of every gift is utilized as projects are identified and approved by the Trustees. These gifts support projects that are outside of the annual operating budget.
Deadline for 2017 gifts
2017 gifts to Marvin Church, according to the IRS, must be postmarked or received at the church no later than midnight Dec. 31. Any gift in the offering plate on Sunday, Dec. 31, or postmarked that day, will be recorded as a 2017 gift.
