Where does worship take place?
There are three spaces on the campus used for worship.
- Traditional and 9:45 acoustic services are in the historic sanctuary. Enter the sanctuary through the main doors on Bois d'Arc street, or enter through the Elm Street or Erwin Street doors and follow the signs. You can also ask for directions or a map at the Welcome Center.
- Core contemporary services are in Herd Worship Center. There are doors on Erwin Street directly into the worship center, or you can enter through the Elm Street atrium doors or the main Erwin Street doors.
- MidWeek services (Wednesdays) are in the chapel. Enter through the atrium doors on Erwin Street and follow the signs or ask at the Welcome Center.
Follow the link at the bottom of the page for a campus map. If you need help, stop at the Welcome Center or ask a greeter - they are stationed at all doors and at the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings.
What should I wear?
Traditional services are fairly formal. Men generally wear a suit and tie or slacks with a dress shirt, and women generally wear dresses or slacks, but more casual dress is also welcome. Core and 9:45 services are casual. Jeans and shorts are welcome. Dress comfortably.
What if I get hungry on Sunday morning?
Come for donuts, coffee, fruit and fellowship! It's all available at 10:30 every Sunday morning in Horton Place, just inside the Erwin Street entrance. You'll have the chance to meet church members, and pastors are usually there as well.
Where do I take my kids and youth?
Children fifth-grade and below should check in at the table in the atrium, across from the Welcome Center. Students sixth-grade and up are part of our Refinery 517 ministry which is based on the third floor. Take the elevator in the atrium, across from the Welcome Center.
